Amnesty Beneficiary Defies COVID19, Bags Distinction From UK Varsity

In spite of the challenges posed by the COVID19, a beneficiary of the Presidential Amnesty Programme Scholarship Scheme, Mr. Nicholas Goodnews, has finished with Distinction, in his Master of Arts programme in Mass Communications at the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom.

Mr. Goodnews, who had  graduated with a First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Public Relations in 2016 from the same University, expressed joy that his       hard work and the investment of the Amnesty programme in his education have paid off.

 Goodnews, in a statement, commended President Muhammadu Buhari for sustaining the Presidential Amnesty Scholarship Scheme. He also lauded the efforts of the Interim Administrator of PAP, Col. Milland Dixon Dikio (rtd) for upholding the original vision of the scheme.

“I am honoured to be a beneficiary and product of the Federal Government Scholarship Scheme through the Office of the Interim Administrator, Presidential Amnesty Programme”, Goodnews declared in his statement.

“Your goodwill and generous contributions have empowered me to pursue and successfully completed the degree of Master of Arts with Distinction in Mass Communications in 2021 at the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom.“I am delighted to inform you that I have performed excellently in my studies despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and

graduated with ‘another Distinction.
