The caretaker extraordinary convention planning committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that political appointees elected as delegates won’t be allowed to vote during the convention.
The convention is scheduled to hold on March 26.
According to a statement posted on the Twitter handle of the convention committee on Thursday, the decision to bar political appointees from voting is in “view of the controversy surrounding section 84(12) of the Electoral Act, 2022â€
