This is the pathetic story I’ve ever read this year. I can’t believe Arik Airline could do this to a customer.😓
A Portharcourt based Psychologist,  businesswoman, Ib MacDonald, narrate her ordeal with Arik Airline.
She wrote on her Facebook page:
“I don’t think there’s any regulatory body checking what Nigerian airlines are doing.
“Nigerian Airlines do whatever they like because they always get away with it. Nobody sues them, no sanctions or fines.
“Imagine Arik air that was supposed to take off from Abuja to Port Harcourt by 12:05 delayed by an hour, told us to confirm our check-in luggage before take off; Only for us to land in PH and we were told our bags will arrive on another airline today or tomorrow morning.
“Some people were going to Bayelsa, some are living very far. Personally, my medication is inside the bag.
“Had it been they told us to pick what we needed or informed us at the airport, we would have known what to do. But they didn’t! They had the nerves to tell us that we would come back to pick it up ourselves.
Airport taxi is 6,000 naira. I paid 61,000 naira for the stupid flight. Now I won’t take my drugs today, or I’ll need to buy new ones today, I will have to pay to the airport to pick my bags and pay back to my house. This is the Nigeria we live in”.

The following day, she wrote:
“Please how do I sue Arikair? Who can link me with a good lawyer?
“I called Arik again today to know if my bag had arrived Port Harcourt Airport.
“The customer care first gave me another number to call instead of finding out for me. I kept my cool and called the number, that number said he’s not the one in charge and he gave me another number.
“I called that number and the number wasn’t reachable. I called their customer care again and got really furious. The lady told me she would call me back, that let her get the correct information. She called back after 10 mins and told me my bag was at the airport.
“I went to the airport, only for them to tell me that my bag is at Airforce base. That I should start going from Omagwa airport to Airforce base to pick my bag.
I cried today. I need to sue Arik for this. They can’t get away with it”.

MY OPINION:
I’ve had similar experience with Air Peace. I just kept my cool and move on. The truth is, Nigeria airlines are the worst in the whole wide world right now.
What’s your take on this guys.
