Anthony Egbo, 37, was beheaded by suspected ritualists on Wednesday in the early hours by the gate of the Living Faith Church in the Elebele community of the Ogbia Local Government area of Bayelsa State.
Remember that the DAILY POST previously reported that more than three people had been killed in the previous month in a similar manner by being hacked on the neck.
DAILY POST, gathered that the deceased, Anthony Egbo was a security personnel attached to the church and an indigene of Elebele community.
Sources also gathered that the Assistant Pastor of the Church and other residents woke to discover the mutilated corpse of the victim, with his head severed from his body and his throat missing.
The Youth President of the Elebele Community, Famous Egbo, who spoke with DAILY POST, confirmed that the corpse of the deceased was discovered at about 5.50am.
“When people saw him, he was beheaded. His throat was missing. People suspected that it may be a ritual killing.â€
