Does Obafemi Awolowo University Offer Law?

YES!

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) offers law as one of its courses. You can find the complete list of all approved courses offered at OAU (Obafemi Awolowo University) here.

 What is the Cut-off Mark in OAU 2022?

The cut-off mark for Obafemi Awolowo University is 200. Students who made OAU their first choice and scored 200 and above in their jamb are qualified for the Post UTME screening to gain admission to Obafemi Awolowo University.

O’ Level Requirements Needed To Offer Law in OAU

To be eligible to study law at Obafemi Awolowo University, students are required to have at least five (5) O’ level credit passes in their SSCE. So, whether you wrote WAEC, NECO, GCE, etc, to be qualified to apply for admission to study Law in OAU, you must ensure you have at least five (5) credit passes in the following subjects:

  1. Mathematics
  2. English Language
  3. Christian Religious Studies (C.R.S)
  4. Government
  5. Literature in English

Note: OAU doesn’t accept more than two sittings in the SSCE result.

OAU JAMB Subject Combination for Law

Below are the four (4) subject combinations for students who want to study Law at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU). The Jamb Subject combination for law in OAU includes the following:

  1. Government
  2. English Language
  3. Literature in English
  4. Christian Religious Studies (C.R.S)

Can I Still Buy OAU Post UTME Form To Study Law If I Didn’t Score Up To 200?

NO!

You are not eligible to purchase Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Post UTME form if you scored below 200. Candidates who are eligible to purchase this form are candidates who score 200 or above 200.

What is OAU Aggregate Score For Law?

OAU Aggregate Score for Law is 67.8

Candidates who didn’t get up to 67.8 aggregate score will not be offered admission into OAU to study Law.

HOW DO I CALCULATE OAU AGGREGATE SCORE?

Below is how the OAU aggregate is been calculated

Aggregate= JAMB score divided by 8+post UTME score+ O’ level score

You can be able to get your O ’level score by using your five relevant subjects

These O’ level scores can be calculated by using the grading system below.

  • A1 = 2.0 points
  • B2 = 1.8 points
  • B3 = 1.6 points
  • C4 = 1.4 points
  • C5 = 1.2 points
  • C6 = 1.0 points

Note: The aggregate score is over 100%
