A man reportedly broke his leg while evading robbers who wanted to steal his phone and was taken to the hospital.
Twitter user, @olabodeEO who shared the story said the man was running from armed robbers who wanted to snatch his phone from him when he jumped off the popular Otedola bridge.
The man broke his leg and was rushed to the hospital where he has been asked to pay a N1.2 million for his medical attention.
”This guy jumped off Otedola bridge because he didn’t want to part with his phone when robbers crossed him last night. He broke a leg, and was rushed to emergency before being transferred to Igbobi. The first bill just came in – 1.2 million. Plus, he’s in severe pain. Sigh.”
