Nigeria’s daily crude oil production rises to over 1 million BPD for the first time in 3 months

Nigeria’s daily crude oil production has risen above one million barrels per day, BPD, recording an average of 1,014,485 BPD in October.

The figure represents a sharp rise compared to August’s 972K BPD and 937K BPD in September, Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (UPRC) October Crude Oil production report disclosed.

According to NUPRC, July was the last time Nigeria’s crude oil production output hit an average of more than one million BPD, recording 1,083,899 BPD.

Before this month, 13 of Nigeria’s 29 crude oil terminals declined between July and September 2022.
