Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Thursday revealed the root of his rift with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the Party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
The former presidential aspirant while commissioning a project in the state claimed Atiku had after winning the party’s primary, promised that Ayu would resign.
He, however, said the former vice president failed to fulfil the promise, leading to the current crisis rocking the party.
Wike who insisted that Iyorchia Ayu must step down as the chairman of the party said “This fight, we will fight it to the endâ€
