Estonia-based SaaS platform DreamApply has launched an initiative designed to help institutions manage their scholarship and grants processes.
The all-in-one scholarship and grant application management solution aims to “empower” educators in their daily operations and decision-making processes when awarding scholarships.
“We have seen higher demand in the education industry for easy-to-implement IT solutions that wouldn’t be expensive,” Sten Rinne, CEO and co-founder of DreamApply said.
“With DreamApply’s Scholarships & Grants solution, we wanted to make sure it could be implemented within weeks and bring many great benefits for managing all the scholarship applications efficiently – no more countless e-mails and spreadsheets.”
Among the initiative’s offerings is a user-friendly application experience for participants, enhanced communication between applicants and staff, and increased operational efficiency through automated administrative tasks, the company said.

It also intends to increase the number of applicants and boost student equity, diversity, and inclusion, with more students coming from underrepresented countries.
DreamApply also said that the solution will identify “emerging opportunities” in a number of fields and industries.
Following feedback from clients and industry trends, the solution – released worldwide on March 23 – “facilitates the application scoring and reviewing for multiple committee members, builds ranks automatically, and attributes different statuses for the entire applicant journey”, DreamApply added.
At a PIE Webinar in 2021, DreamApply contended that scholarships are central to universities’ internationalisation and recruitment strategies.
“We’re seeing from existing clients and from new clients, that scholarships are now becoming key part of their recruitment strategy,” DreamApply’s head of Global Sales Iain Murray said at the time.
