The Northern Region Accountants Conference, a body under the Redeemed Christian Church of God has donated food items and foot wears to pupils of School of the Blind, Abuja.
The Northern Region Director of Finance, Temitope Oyeleye while addressing the pupils explained that the group’s visit for the second time was part of the decision of the group to give back to society.
Oyeleye commended the Head Teacher, Rose Ugandan, and staff of the school for taking care of the pupils and urged them to keep doing the selfless services to humanity while also encouraging the pupils to remain confident and keep hope alive as God is still in the business of shaping destinies.
She said, “This is our second coming to this school and we want you to know that you have a friend in us and we wish we could do more.
“We normally go to IPD camps and orphanage homes. One of us spotted this place and came to inform the group.
“So we decided to visit them last year and since that time, they have been on our mind. At least whatever we can give or do to support them, we always do. So each time we are doing our CSR, we always choose to come here.’’
