The All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to conduct its presidential primary election at a special convention holding at the Eagle Square, Abuja between Monday and Wednesday, June 6-8, 2022.
The APC faces a difficult task in selecting a candidate who can lead it to victory in the Nigerian presidential election in 2023. It could backfire if the leadership decides to impose a candidate on members in an arrogant manner. Nigerians are waiting with bated breath to see how the primary would turn out.
The screening committee, directed by John Odigie-Oyegun, screened twenty-three (23) candidates.
Those who succeeded include, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, Yahaya Bello, David Umahi, Jack-ich and others.
