The police in Kano have confirmed that a teenager, simply identified as Iro Kwarangwal of Karshen Kwalta, Rimin Kebe, killed his mother with a sharp knife.
The teenager, on Wednesday evening, was said to have stabbed his biological mother, Jummai, to death over a simple disagreement over his naughty character.
An eyewitness, Muhammad Abdu, neighbour to the deceased, told our correspondent that the ugly incident occurred at about 5:30 pm.
Malam Abdu said,
“I was standing outside my house when i suddenly heard screaming from the deceased resident.â€
